The sum of N81.9billion, has been awarded by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja as cumulative damages against oil giant, Mobil and its joint venture partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Justice Taiwo Taiwo, in a judgment on Monday ordered that the money must be paid within 14 days, after which eight percent interest will be accruable on the principal sum annually.
