Bournemouth Manager Scott Parker is said to be interested in reuniting with his former player Ola Aina, whom he worked with during his managerial spell at Fulham.
The newly promoted Premier League club are looking to bolster their squad this transfer window and are already working on a move for the Nigerian defender and other transfer targets.
Aina endured a difficult time with Torino since his return from the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon and could be tempted with a move which would see him reunite with his former manager.
The Super Eagles defender last week opened up on his trials at the Serie A outfit following his return from the African Cup of Nations .
Aina said “My season was up and down. The first half from August before I left for the AFCON was okay, a few good performances and some things in those games I think were quite nice as well,”
“And then after the Afcon things really slowed up for me.
“I wasn’t being selected in the starting XI and playing games wasn’t free-flowing as prior, but I have no regrets whatsoever.”
Bournemouth returned to the English Premier League after finishing second in the last English Championship season behind Fulham.
Ahead of their return to the English top flight, Bournemouth will host Aston Villa on the opening day of the 2022/2023 EPL season.
Torino will accept any offer that meets their 10 million Euros valuation with Bournemouth willing to push through a transfer as soon as possible to beat off competition from other prospective suitors.
