Striker Victor Osimhen has deleted virtually every single Napoli-related post from his Instagram.
This followed Napoli’s ill-advised post on TikTok on Tuesday.
The video now deleted video appeared to mock Osimhen for missing a penalty during their 0-0 draw with Bologna in Serie A last weekend.
It was eventually pulled down by Napoli following serious backlash on social media.
At the moment, Osimhen is considering taking legal action against his club over the viral video mocking his penalty miss versus Bologna.
This was revealed by Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda in a statement.
Part of the statement reads, “What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
Osimhen scored 30 goals which propelled the club to win Serie A after over three decades.
