Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro has heaped plaudits on the Golden Eaglets following the team’s successful outing at the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana.
The Nduka Ugbade led side defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in a keenly contested final clash at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday night.
The Nduka Ugbade’s boys were clearly the best team in the regional tournament. They won all their four games, scoring 12 goals and conceding five.
The Nigerian boys will also compete at the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria early next year.
Abdullahi Idris put Nigeria in front in the 23rd minute before Burkina Faso equalised before half-time.
Idris put Nigeria back in front after in the second half after he capitalised on Burkina Faso goalkeeper terrible mistake.

Former Super Eagles Head Coach and Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation Augustine Eguavoen also showered praises on the Eaglets for the wonderful feat.
