The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has inducted 13 incubates into her Technology Innovation and Incubation Center (TIIC).
The incubates were inducted on Wednesday by the Board’s Director Planning Research & Statistics, Mr. Patrick Daziba Obah at the Nigerian Content Tower, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
They will be undergoing different phases of training for six months and successful participants will proceed to the business development phase.
It is worthwhile to note that the induction is one of the numerous Human Capacity Development (HCD) initiatives executed by the Board to close competency gaps in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
Last week, the Board conducted a 2-day Virtual Stakeholders Workshop aimed at developing a credible road map to sustain effective capacity building in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry in a post Covid-19 world.
Efforts made by NCDMB at leading women inclusion in HCD programmes also gained recognition last week when the Association of Professional Women Engineers (APWEN) commended the Board for its numerous women capacity building initiatives over the years.
