Real Madrid are reportedly planning a major overhaul of their squad this summer following a disappointing season.
The Spanish giants were knocked out of the Champions League semi-final by Chelsea and could finish the campaign without a silverware if arch-rivals Atletico Madrid don’t slip up in their LaLiga chase.
With manager Zinedine Zidane set to depart the club at the end of the season, it has become a clear notion that whoever ends up taking over at the helm has a task of rebuilding the the team, with the likes of Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Marcelo edging towards the twilight of their careers.
Listed among the list of players to face possible exit, include former Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard, who has failed to reach his Stamford Bridge heights since moving to Bernabeu.
Others include: Raphael Varane, who is on the radar of Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG.
Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marco Asensio are more well-known forwards also on their ways out, and they are joined by Marcelo, Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz, Borja Mayoral and Dani Ceballos, who is on loan at Arsenal.
The sales would be crucial at this point to free up some of the wage budget as well as bolster their strength in the transfer market.
However, it is yet to be seen if clubs will be able to afford these calibre of players after a year of rocked by financial dounturn due to Covid-19.
