Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo is making fresh career exploits.
This is as he broke the Saudi League record for goals scored in a single season.
At 39, Ronaldo bagged a brace for Al Nassr in a 4-2 victory against Al Ittihad in the final game of the season on Monday night.
The brace took his tally for the season to 35 goals, 11 assist in 31 games.
The previous record was 34 goals and was set in the 2018/2019 campaign.
Despite Ronaldo’s scoring exploits, Al Nassr failed to win the league title.
Rather, they ended in the second place with 82 points behind Al-Hilal.
He would hope to carry his impressive scoring form to Portugal’s national team as they prepare for the Euros in Germany.
He had played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
Previously, he led Portugal to win Euro 2016.
