Portuguese men’s football National team captain Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal to guide Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia to the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup.
How Penalty Lifted Al-Nassr
The former Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus player converted a penalty in the 75th minute of the match as Al-Nassr beat Al-Shorta 1-0 to qualify for the final.
That was after fellow teammate Sadio Mane was brought down inside the penalty box.
And after an initial VAR check, the referee handed Al-Nassr the all-important spot-kick which decided the fate of the game.
Unstoppable Ronaldo
Ronaldo is simply unstoppable this season having now scored four goals in four consecutive matches for his club.
Ronaldo will now play in his first final since moving to the club in January.
His side are also preparing for the new Saudi Pro League season, which starts on Friday.
Al-Nassr will face another Saudi opponent, Al-Hilal or Al-Shabab, in the final on Saturday.
