After spending some months with former club Borussia Dortmund, English player Jadon Sancho is back to Manchester United.
According to reports from England, his return to United training, marks the end of a prolonged rift with manager Erik ten Hag.
The reconciliation comes after Sancho’s initial refusal to apologise for publicly disputing Ten Hag’s reasons for his exclusion from the squad for the Arsenal match in September, Super Sport is reporting.
Sancho, who trained and ate alone for four months, was loaned back to Dortmund in January.
The 24-year-old winger struggled to find his form at Old Trafford following his £73 million transfer from Dortmund in 2021 but revitalized his career in the Bundesliga, playing a key role in Dortmund’s journey to the Champions League final, where they were defeated by Real Madrid.
With Ten Hag’s recent contract extension, Sancho’s return to Manchester United seemed unlikely.
However, hopes are now high that Sancho will fully participate in pre-season activities and the club’s tour of the United States later this month.
