A School security officer identified as Amirize Ibezimakor, of the Model Primary School, Maitama in the Federal Capital Territory, has raised alarm over threats made to his life by students from a nearby school.
While addressing the press in Abuja, Ibezimakor noted that the Junior Secondary School boys in Maitama who had given him several death threats, had on one occasion beaten him to a pulp.
The Security officer thus called on the Federal Government to intervene in his situation and bring the miscreants to book.
Also speaking, the Head Mistress of the school, Ms Catherine Renkwa, said they have reported the case to the police and Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMMAC) Chief Security Officer who is in charge of Abuja Primary School security, adding that necessary action would be taken in that regard.
