The Teranga Lions of Senegal have become the first team to qualify for the 2021 African Cup of Nations after host, Cameroon.
Sadio Mane’s 82nd minutes goal in the game against Guinea Bissau ensured that the team picked up a maximum 12 points from four matches in Group I and qualified with two games to spare.
Senegal, currently the top ranked country in Africa have not lost a game since the AFCON final against Algeria.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations has been postponed to January 2022 by the Confederation of African Football as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
