Manchester United will travel to Etihad to face Premier League Leaders, Manchester City on Sunday, but two players are set to return to the squad from injury, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United face a tough test against an in-form City side that are on a 21-match winning streak and could their lead stretch their lead over their second-placed nemesis to 17 points on Sunday.
With 10 matches left, City look like they are ready to run away with the title but that could be left on the ice if the Red Devils get a win with the return of Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial serving a huge boost to a side that has not scored in its last three matches.
United have had three 0-0s in a row against Real Sociedad, Chelsea, and Crystal Palace and the Norwegian is desperate for more creativity in his side.
And his case could receive a major boost with Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial close to returning to fitness.
“We’re still hoping to get one or two back of course,” Solskjaer told MUTV on Friday.
“We can’t promise any of them being available that weren’t available in the last game against Palace.
“So we’ll go with the same squad if not.”
Pogba has not played since the 3-3 draw against Everton in February after being suffering a thigh injury.
Martial had a knock in training which ruled him out of the Palace clash while Victor Lindelof was an unused substitute as Solskjaer continues to monitor a long-term back injury.
