Thousands of Arsenal fans were seen protesting outside the Emirates Stadium last night, calling for the ouster of owner Stan Kroenke.
The call to oust Kroenke, came in the heels of the club’ attempt to join the suspended European Super League.
Gunners supporters have been particularly angered by Kroenke’s decision to link the club with the proposed Super League idea.
While fans are already seeking for a new management to take over the running of the club, Kroenke’s son, Josh, has claimed that the family have no intention of selling Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Swedish Billionaire and Spotify owner Daniel Ek has shown interest in buying the club after he posted on Twitter that he would love to buy the team that he has supported since he was a child.
Supporters desperate for change at the Emirates had quickly encouraged Ek to do so.
Though, it was pointed out that the call for a new owner may not solve the problem, but would instead puts their club at the mercy of another billionaire.
Arsenal lost 1-0 to Everton on Friday, with a Bernd Leno own goal giving the Toffees all three points in a tightly contested game between the two teams chasing European football.
