Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling will make a decision on his future before the Citizens travel to United States for their pre-season tour next month, report suggests.
Sterling’s future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with the attacker believed to be considering a move away from Etihad Stadium in the current market.
The Englishman’s contract at Etihad Stadium is due to expire next June.
Chelsea are already said to have failed with an offer for the 27-year-old, while Barcelona, AC Milan and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Man City will know before their pre-season tour next month where the former Queens Park Rangers youngster will play his football next term.
Pep Guardiola’s side are due to play two friendlies against America and Bayern Munich on July 20 aChnd July 23 respectively before facing Liverpool in the Community Shield on July 30.
Sterling was again an important player at club level during the 2021-22 campaign, making 47 appearances in all competitions, contributing 17 goals and nine assists in the process.
Sterling joined Man City from Liverpool in July 2015, and he has represented the club on 339 occasions in all competitions, scoring 131 goals and registering 95 assists in the process.
The attacker has won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four League Cups during his time in Manchester, playing a key role in their success.
