The former Charlton Athletic midfielder has made 24 appearances in the elite division for the Gers this season, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
While his compatriot Balogun, who joined Rangers last summer after leaving Wigan Athletic has been solid in the defense.
The 32-year-old has featured in 17 Premiership games and provided two assists as part of his contribution to help the Gers clinch the league title.
Gerrard took over at Ibrox in 2018, finishing second in each of his first two seasons as Celtic hoped to make it 10 league titles in a row this time around.

Gerrard’s side had defeated St Mirren 3-0 on Saturday to extend their current winning streak to six games in all competitions and put them within a point of lifting the title.
But the Glasgow side have now claimed the 55th Scottish crown in their history after Celtic failed to win.
Rangers are through to the last-16 of the Europa League and will visit Slavia Prague to contest the first leg of the tie on Thursday before hosting them for the return fixture on March 18.
