Top Italian club Juventus are reportedly making a stronger push to sign former African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen.
This was disclosed by Italian journalist Niccolò Ceccarini of Tuttomercatoweb.
The journalist revealed that the top Serie A club plans to meet with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis to discuss Osimhen’s transfer in the summer.
He said, “Osimhen will return to Napoli from Galatasaray at the end of the championship. The negotiations will not be simple, but the Bianconeri will try to find an agreement with De Laurentiis.”
The possibility of Osimhen joining Juventus has increased due to the €75 million price tag placed on loanee and France international Randal Kolo Muani, making a permanent move to the club difficult.
However, Kolo Muani has made an immediate impact at Juve since his loan transfer from PSG.
Meanwhile, another Juventus star striker, Dušan Vlahović, has yet to agree to a new contract, making a potential transfer to the Premier League even more likely.
Manchester United are also rumoured to have growing interest in signing Osimhen this summer.
