Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has arrived at Cour De’appal De Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The court hearing initially scheduled for Wednesday failed to hold as the self-acclaimed freedom fighter was not brought to Court for the hearing by the Beninoise authorities.
However, he has been arraigned for an extradition hearing today, a development which comes days after his arrest by security forces in Benin Republic.
Igboho alongside his wife, Mrs Ropo Adeyemo were arrested at the Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport on Monday night while attempting to flee to Germany.
The arrest came about three weeks after the Department of State Services declared him wanted for allegedly stockpiling arms, an allegation he has since denied.
