Nigerian international and Super Eagles skipper, Ahmed Musa has confirmed that he has joined Turkish Super Lig outfit, Sivasspor, on a two-year deal.
This followed the termination of his contract with former club Fatih Karagumuruk which was announced on Friday September 2, 2022.
The club did not give any reason for terminating Musa’s contract after the 29-year-old player already made three appearances in the new season.
The club’s announcement reads, “We have parted ways by mutual agreement with professional football player Ahmed Musa, who was included in our 2021/2022 season.
“We would like to thank Musa for his services to our club and wish him success in his future football career.”
However, Musa later on Friday night shared a picture where he appeared on Sivasspor outfit.
He simply wrote, “Alhamdulillah @Sivasspor,” on his Twitter page.
With the latest development, he is expected to link up with another Nigerian Leke James at the new club Sivasspor.
The new club is yet to confirm the latest development as at the time of filling this report.
Musa scored four goals in 34 appearances across all competitions for Fathi Karagumuruk last season.
Heritage Times HT reports that the experienced forward had previously featured for CSKA Moscow in Russia, Leicester City in the Premier League, and in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr.
