The incident reportedly took place on Monday where the teacher was said to have flogged Aliyu for failing to complete his assignment.

According to reports, Aliyu who wasn’t feeling well that day had gone to the school clinic to receive treatment, but was not administered any because he had not taken any meal for the day.

Upon his return to his class, other students were submitting their assignment but he was unable to submit his upon request because he had not completed it.

The teacher later known as Mrs Gibson, punished Aliyu and thereafter used a bucket handle to hit him repeatedly on the head.

When the teacher left, Aliyu put his head on the table and remained still, attracting the attention of his classmates who called for help from the authorities.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Aliyu was a JSS 2 boarding student in the school until his death.

His death got a lot of student in the school angry, as they began protesting in the school premises.
