Reports from England suggests that Erik ten Hag will mostly continue as the Manager of Manchester United.
This followed talks between the Dutchman and the club management.
Already, the coach has agreed to stay on, according to Supersport.
Ten Hag’s existing United contract runs until next June, with an option to prolong by 12 months.
Both parties are now expected to enter negotiations about extending those terms.
After winning the FA Cup last month, defeating Manchester City 2-1 at Wembley Stadium, The Athletic reported that the club were due to conduct a review of the 2023-24 campaign — including the performance of Ten Hag.
United endured a difficult 2023/24 season, finishing below in any of the European places before eventually winning the FA Cup.
While the club’s performance dwindled, fans were eager to let go of Ten Hag.
