Chelsea Defender, Thiago Silva has narrated how Frank Lampard sent him a picture on the day he signed for the blues.
The 36-year-old Brazilian joined the Blues from French Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer this summer.
Silva, has been impressive since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, having scored a stunning header in the EPL against Sheffield United last weekend.
According to the defender who has returned home to join the national team during the international break, Chelsea boss sent him a picture of both of them together when they captained their respective countries during a friendly in 2013.

The Brazilian has thus far, repaid Frank Lampard’s faith in him; having brought stability to the club’s defence.
“When I was about to sign with Chelsea, (when I said ok) Lampard sent me a message with a photo of us shaking hands as captains at the Maracana in the friendly between Brazil and England.
“It was a big surprise for me, because I did not remember that game.
“I certainly did not hesitate to be coached by him,” Thiago said.
