Takeoff’s “Celebration of Life” took place on Friday at State Farm Arena. The memorial service had a strict “no photo or video” policy.
Despite the policy, a few fans who made it inside the venue leaked clips of Drake and Offset during their speeches.
Over 15,000 people gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of takeoff during his memorial service. The star-studded sendoff featured emotional tributes from Offset, Drake and Quavo, as well as performances from Chloe Bailey, Justin Bieber and Yolanda Adams.
One-third of the migos “Offset” broke down during his speech and also gave credit to Takeoff for being the one who came up with the flow and sound of Migos.
The sudden death on Tuesday of Kirshnik Khari Ball, better known as Takeoff, still remains as a shock to the world. But his legacy will live on.
