Golf star Tiger Woods has officially admitted that he is in love with Vanessa Trump, the former wife of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Woods’ admission comes just weeks after news of their relationship became public.
Speaking via his social media accounts, Woods wrote: “Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy from all those close to our hearts.”
Coincidentally, Vanessa shared a similar post on her Instagram Story, in what appeared to be a coordinated announcement from the couple.
Earlier this month, The Post confirmed that the pair had quietly started dating after their friendship developed into “something more,” according to a source.
Connecting Point
Vanessa’s eldest daughter, Kai, and Woods’ two children, Charlie and Sam, all attend The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, which reportedly played a role in bringing them closer.
The relationship has been described as “not too serious” but “heading in that direction.”
“They’re taking it slow, but I could see this becoming something really serious and permanent,” the source told The Post.
“She’s not starstruck by him—she would date him even if he weren’t famous. Fame doesn’t interest her, and that’s what he likes best about her.”
After news of the relationship surfaced, Page Six reported that Woods was initially hesitant to move beyond friendship with Vanessa due to his close relationship with Donald Trump.
Woods and Trump were seen together multiple times in February, including during a round of golf in Palm Beach, Florida, and at discussions surrounding the LIV-PGA Tour merger.
“He friend-zoned her at first, they just talked about their kids and kept things platonic and casual. Then, sure enough, feelings started developing on both sides,” a source told Page Six
