Nigeria, Zambia and Morocco have played their way to the final round of qualifiers ahead of the 2024 U17 Women’s World Cup.
While Nigeria’s Flamingos roared from a 1-1 draw in the first leg qualifier to randomly exorcise their Burkina Faso counterpart 7-1 on aggregate at the second leg in Abuja on Saturday, Zambia eliminated Uganda 2-1 on aggregate in the third round, despite a 1-0 away loss.
It was an easy sail for Morocco as they comfortably destroyed Algeria 8-0 on aggregate, after the first leg ended 4-0.
Burundi, another team from the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Zone, also qualified for the fourth round after ejecting Djibouti 24-0 on aggregate.

Among the fourth and final round fixtures, Heritage Times HT confirms that Nigeria await the winner between Senegal and Liberia to know their next opponent en route to Dominican Republic.
On the other hand, Zambia will face Morocco in the final stage qualifier.
The first leg is scheduled for Saturday June 8, 2024.
This year’s age-grade tournament, which will have three qualified teams from Africa, will take place in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November.
