Arsenal, Tuesday night, shocked Real Madrid 3-0 in the quarter-final first leg tie of UEFA Champions League match.
The Gunners as Arsenal are mostly known, responded like a house on fire in the second half, after the first half ended in a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Then, it took Declan Rice’s brace and a goal from Mikel Merino to subdue Madrid, giving Arsenal an edge in the second leg which will happen at the Bernabau in Spain within the next seven days.
On the other Champions League last-eight first leg tie played same day, Inter Milan defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 in Paris.
Lautaro Martinez gave the visitors the lead in the first half.
But Thomas Muller equalised for the hosts.
However, Davide Frattesi scored few minutes later to give the Serie A side a first leg advantage ahead of the return leg next week.
The remaining quarter-final first leg ties will happen on Wednesday.
