Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night defeated French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0 in the Champions League semi-final first leg clash in Germany.
It took Niclas Fuellkrug’s lone goal to make the difference.
He scored the goal in the first half.
The game continued and ended without any of the sides getting any more goals.
With the outcome of the match, Dortmund secured a narrow 1-0 first-leg advantage at home to PSG to leave their UEFA Champions League semi-final finely poised.
The two teams will now reconvene for the second leg in the French capital on Tuesday with the winner meeting Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the final at Wembley on June 1, 2024.
