FC Porto booked their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League after they held Manchester City to a goalless draw at home.
The Portuguese side cruised into the knockout phase behind leaders Manchester City as Olympiacos lost to French outfit Marseille 2 – 1.
Conceicao’s men bagged 10 points from 5 matches with a game to spare.
Olympiacos and Marseille finished off as third and fourth respectively with three points each.
Super Eagles left back, Zaidu Sanusi played the entire duration of the encounter to unsettle Raheem Sterling from the flank.
Commenting on his team’s qualification, Conceicao said:”It is our 16th appearance in the round of 16, more than double that of all other Portuguese teams.

Meanwhile, The Heritage Times had earlier reported that Nigerian international, Zaidu Sanusi got his debut Champions League goal on Wednesday in a 2 – 0 victory over Olympiacos in the matchday 4 of 6.
