Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni has thanked his daughter Patience Rwabwogo for introducing the family to the Christian faith.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Museveni said that no one in his family was involved in government or church matters before.
Patience is Museveni’s second child and the lead Pastor of Covenant Nations Church.
“In the government, I was the 1st person and on the church side, my daughter, now a priest. So, I thank Patience for introducing our family to that line,” he tweeted.
Recently, Patience launched her book titled Jesus’ Africa
Museveni while congratulating his daughter, he described the book as a masterpiece that links the Christian principles to those of the ruling party, the National Resistance Movement.
“I want to congratulate Patience Rwabwogo for writing a book that links the Bible to NRM’s principles of Patriotism and Pan-Africanism,” he tweeted.
He also affirmed Patience’s words that Africans have sold their birthright by being greedy and selling their people into slavery.
“Patience is trying to say that if we do not protect our birthright, the enemy will come and steal it. We must protect it,” he added.
