Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, has assumed that the world would learn from President Muhammadu Buhari on how to manage their economies and overcome recession, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adesina who made this bold declaration while speaking on a Channels Tv program on Monday night, other countries attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting, would benefit while President speaks.
According to him, not only did Nigeria recover, but the economy “recorded a GDP growth of 5.01,” adding that Buhari was going to teach the rest of the world how it was done.
He added that his principal “would talk about security. He would talk about the girl child, SDGs, and so many things.”
It would be recalled that Buhari departed Abuja on Sunday for New York to participate in the 76th Session of the UNGA which opened on September 14.
The theme for this year’s UNGA is “Building Resilience Through Hope – To Recover from COVID-19, Rebuild Sustainably, Respond to Needs of the Planet, Respect the Rights of People and Revitalise the United Nations.”
