Veteran actor in Nigerian film industry Nollywood, Mr. Hanks Anuku has appealed for financial support, explaining that he has been unemployed for years, a situation that has brought about economic difficulties.
Similarly, his colleague, Amaechi Muonagor has also opened up on his health status, explaining that he is battling a stroke, for which he needs the public to support him financially.
Mr. Anuku in a viral video while urging support of his fans said he had worked tirelessly for his country and attained the height of being a legend.
His particularly mentioned governor of his Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Orohwedor Oborevwori to send him financial support.
“Well, I’m going to address my fans and those who truly love me, including my governor, Sheriff. I have worked for this country, I have attained the height of being a legend.
“I’ve had no jobs for God knows how many years and I expected Nigerians to also know that I did it all for them.
“I’m going to ask the governor. Sherry, please send support to me and my fans who truly love and appreciate the works I’ve done for them, I’ll send my account number. May God help you all. Help me,” he said.
Muonagor in a viral video also said the reason he did not publicly disclose his illness was because he was unaware it would last this long.
