Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has joined a host of other prominent individuals to celebrates popular Nigerian online comedy group, Ikorodu Bois for their creativity on today’s episode of his Thumbs Up Thursday.
The comic group known for recreating and mimicking multi-million dollar music videos, Hollywood movie trailers and epic pictures using ordinary household items consists of Muiz Sanni (15), Malik Sanni (10) and Fawas (13).
In the latest edition of his Thumbs Up Thursday, an initiative aimed at celebrating excellence, Osinbajo shared a short video commentary chronicling the talented kids’ works and creativity.
The video was accompanied by a post in which the vice-president hailed the group’s tenacity which has shot them into global prominence.
He, however, said there is a need to ensure that the talented kids remain focused on exploring their potentials without getting distracted.
“The exploits of the @Ikorodu_Bois are impressive, especially for two reasons. The first, is the joy of watching them achieve such global acclaim with consistent effort from their humble corner in Ikorodu,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had earlier taken to his Twitter account to share pictures when he hosted the talented Ikorodu Bois in his office.
In his post, the Governor mentioned that the young boys’ creativity put them and Ikorodu on the world map.
Correspondingly, popular American Talk Show host, Steve Harvey, took to his verified Twitter account with about 4.2 million followers to hail the Nigerian internet sensation.
Recall that in April 2021, Netflix announced plans to feature the group of brothers in its Oscar Weekend Film Brand Campaign
According to Netflix, the campaign is targeted at celebrating fans for the important role they play in watching, loving, discussing, and even recreating Netflix movies.
