With a few days until the kick-off of the 2024 WAFU B U17 tournament, most of the Nigerian boys already in an intense preparation have failed the mandatory MRI test.
The Nigerian U17 team known as Golden Eaglets are now facing tough times en route to battling for African U17 tournament when the regional hostilities get underway.
Heritage Times HT gathered that more than half of the team are reportedly affected.

Though, the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are still keeping tight lips over the latest development, most of those affected are said to be in the main team.
Nigeria, five-time world champions are drawn in Group B alongside Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger Republic.
This comes as Nigeria have only until Monday to submit a final squad list to the organisers.
Nigeria won the WAFU competition two years ago, but failed to qualify for the global U17 tournament at the AFCON.
