Super Eagles Interim Coach, Augustine Eguavoen has called for more support from Nigerians as the team continues its quest to win a 4th Africa Cup of Nations title in Cameroon.
Super Eagles will take on the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in last Group D match on Wednesday.
The team already qualified as Group D leaders for the knockout stage after two wins from two matches.
And with the Round of 16 which starts on January 23rd, coach Eguavoen who has won the hearts of Nigeria football followers after he rejuvenated the Super Eagles playing style, have called for more support as the team continue to push for the title.
“As we prepare for the next round of games, we need your support now, more than ever,” Eguavoen stated in his Facebook Timeline.
Nigeria tops Group D with 6 points followed by Egypt with 3 points, while Guinea Bissau and Sudan both have a point each.
Nigeria last won the AFCON 9 years ago in South Africa and would be seeking their fourth AFCON glory in Cameroon after an impressive start to the campaign.
