American rapper and movie producer 50 Cent has announced plans to make a TV series about the convicted Nigerian fraudster Ramon Abass aka Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi was recently sentenced by a US court to 11 years and three months in prison for online fraud running into millions of dollars. He is also to restitute $1.7 million to two persons.
The convicted fraudster has been in custody since his arrest in Dubai in 2020.
He had a penchant for flaunting lavish lifestyle on Instagram which won him a lot of followers on the photo-sharing app.
Majority of Hushpuppi’s victims were Americans.
50 cent, who is known to have produced successful TV series such as Power, Power Book II, and Power Book III among others, took to Instagram in the late night of Wednesday to announce his upcoming projects.
According to him, the decision to make the series is for the sake of his ‘scammers’.
Uploading some pictures of the Huspuppi, he wrote,
“For my scammers I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon ! GLGGreenLightGang i don’t miss #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv.”
