Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid, recently burst out with excitement after making history by selling out the O2 Arena tickets within 12 minutes ahead of his Made In Lagos concert which is slated for November 28.
The concert is part of a planned tour of North America to support the album he released in October last year.
The Grammy Award winner took to social media to announce that he has run out of tickets for the concert writing, ‘Sold out the 02 Arena in 12 minutes. London! I love you.”
This is not the first time Wizkid is selling out the 02, as he also did with his “Starboy Fest” in October of 2019, becoming the first African artiste to do so.
The O2’s Welcome Back Show series will also showcase the very best of British and International acts.
Wizkid’s Made In Lagos is one of the most sought-after shows in the world this season.
The 14-track album features fellow Grammy Award winner Burnaboy, Tems, reggae artist, Damian Marley, amongst others.
