The world’s tallest man has travelled to Moscow, Russia in a fresh bid to find a new bride who can “adore him forever”.
Sultan Kosen, from Turkey, is in the Guinness World Records for his height and towers over the rest of us at a whopping height of 8 feet 3 inches.
He previously revealed that as a youngster he had a tumour affecting his pituitary gland that caused him to suffer from gigantism and acromegaly.
And although admitting it sometimes caused him some difficulties and discomfort, including challenges posed by his huge hands and feet, he eventually got used to being so tall.
However, the now 39-year-old says one of his biggest challenges to date has been his lovelife.
In 2013, he married a 175-centimetre- (5’9”) tall Syrian woman named Merve Dibo, who was 10 years his junior.
In an interview, Mr Kosen had previously spoken about his biggest problem with his wife being communication, as he speaks Turkish, whereas his ex-wife only spoke Arabic.
Despite the communication problem, the marriage lasted several years until the couple recently divorced.
Single again, Kosen jumped on a plane and travelled to Moscow in search of a new bride in early December, having hear that Russian women possess “incredible beauty and a loving soul”.
On the TV show ‘Let Them Speak’ on TV1 on 20th December, Kosen said he had decided he wanted a Russian bride to bear him a son and a daughter.
“It should be easy. I can provide well and do not need money,” he said.
“I would like to take my wife back to Turkey. I live in a historical place, in the southeast, but quite far from the sea. I heard that Russian women love hot, polite men. It should be easy!”
He added: “A Russian woman in love will adore her man forever.”
It is unclear how long Kosen plans to remain in Russia looking for his next bride.
