In a trip that will, according to the White House, send a clear message to Russia about the unity of the West, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with US President Joe Biden and address Congress in Washington on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he was en route to the United States for talks with American President Joe Biden and to address the American Congress.
“On my way to the United States to strengthen resilience and defence capabilities of Ukraine,” Zelensky said on his Twitter account.
“The partnership between the United States and Ukraine will be a special topic of discussion with @POTUS. Along with other bilateral meetings, I will also be speaking before the Congress.”
